All of our Crusaders did an excellent job last weekend! I have attached the results to this email and the event on the calendar on our website. There are several important updates you need to know about so please read to the end of this email.

Schedule:

With the weather changing and holidays our practice location will be changing more frequently - sometimes with little warning. Make sure you have downloaded the Crusaders app and allowed notifications to stay up to date. 

November 13 - Conroe Aquatic Center

November 14-16 - Westside Recreation Center

November 20 - Conroe Aquatic Center

November 21 - Westside Recreation Center

November 22-23 - No Practice (Happy Thanksgiving!)

November 27 - Conroe Aquatic Center

November 28-30 - Westside Recreation Center

Meets:

Thank you for your patience with me as I learn the procedure for finding and entering our team in local meets. We are not on most teams' list of participants, so it takes a while for information to reach us. That being said, a communication went out about the Cypress Christian meet on November 14th that I did not receive. They were unable to secure the pool and had to move that meet to December 4th. I have attached the meet announcement that I received today. 

Swim Caps:

The manufacturer of the swim caps confirmed that they used a different process than originally agreed on for our caps which is why the logo is peeling already. Our vendor is working to secure us a refund and we will be ordering new caps from a local company. Stay tuned for updates.

Christmas Store:

We will be offering additional spirit wear to arrive in time for Santa to put under the tree. The final item list and images are in the works, and we will send an email as soon as the store is open. It will need to be a quick turnaround to get everything in time. 

Team Spirit:

The vision of the Crusaders is to be more than a team - a family. We want to see everyone supporting each other not only at practice but at meets as well. Any event that has a Crusader in it should have a Crusader cheering section! Please don't leave the meet until the last event that has one of our team members in it. We also want to see your team spirit by wearing your Crusader shirt, suit and cap to the meets. 

Facility:

The City of Conroe is allowing us to rent pool space for our team. This means we need to be respectful of the facility and other patrons. Several comments have been made about locker room issues. Please talk to your swimmers about not being loud or rambunctious in the locker rooms and sauna. Items belonging to other patrons should never be touched or moved. If these things become a problem, the swimmers will not be allowed to use the upstairs locker rooms.
